I've always had amazing experiences here. I regularly come here and it's always the best. All of the servers are nice and kind and the food always taste fresh and delicious.

Been going to Sumo for the past year but this Sunday afternoon experience, was the best visit my family and I have had. Our server, Sean, was pleasant even though we bombarded him with our orders haha. I loved all of my previous experiences but the atmosphere last night was wonderful, of course, along with our server! The food was wonderful as always and I recommend the salmon rolls because they’re always such high quality! Also, the seaweed salad here is by far my favorite, hands down. It’s so fresh and tasty.

Absolutely amazed at this place. We went on a Friday night and didn't wait long although later it did get busy but we were seated quickly. The server was fast but patient with us since it was our first time here. We were celebrating my sister's birthday and as soon as we ordered everything came out, drinks came out and food. Everything was absolutely delicious! We had so much fun ordering everything we wanted to try and the portions were good enough to get you full. We loved the food, drinks and dessert. They also came and gave my sister a little birthday dessert. We enjoyed this place so much and will be returning!

This was our second visit, and once again, this restaurant has blown us away! Despite how busy it was, the experience was flawless from start to finish, and much of that is thanks to our phenomenal server, Lily. She truly went above and beyond, exceeding all of our expectations with her warmth, attentiveness, and effortless ability to keep everything running smoothly. The food was outstanding—as always—and arrived incredibly fast, even with the restaurant packed. It’s rare to find a place where the quality of the food is matched by the quality of the service, but this restaurant achieves both with ease. During our first visit, we were fortunate to have Alina as our server. She took time out of her busy shift to acknowledge us and made us feel genuinely valued. This time, Lily picked up right where Alina left off, delivering the same incredible care but with her own special touch that elevated the experience even further. Every visit here has been spectacular, and it’s clear that the team is dedicated to creating memorable moments for their guests. If you’re lucky enough to have Lily or Alina as your server, you’re in for an unforgettable dining experience. We can’t wait to come back again!

Best Japanese restaurant in Houston hands down. 31.00 all you can eat sushi, appetizers and hibachi...are you kidding me. The staff, the vibes and every dish is immaculate. Super humble portions too so you can try everything on the menu without wasting food and getting full too fast. Can’t say enough great things about this place

AYCE sushi came out very fast and our server was very attentive. Quality of food is okay, worth the money if you eat a lot. Best part is you can order the fish by itself without the rice, so you can really feel satisfied without feeling guilty leaving food waste. The rolls are flavorful and drinks are good.

Came here with some friends since we were in the mood for sushi. We ordered some sushi rolls from the a la carte menu and when they arrived, they were pretty small from the price. Either the roll itself was tiny (slightly bigger than a quarter), and even if the roll appeared “large”, it was cut in very skinny pieces and only had 5 pieces. Everything on the a la carte menu was brought out in in aesthetically pleasing and extravagant style decorated dishes, but it felt like, for the price of the roll, we weren’t getting our money’s worth of food, and the high price seemed like it’s going towards the decor on the plate rather than a quality and filling meal. After we realized how small the portions are, we asked our server if we could switch to the AYCE menu since that included everything and we saw the portions on that were bigger. They were happy to help us switch over. (Have a feeling portions are intentionally smaller for a la carte to incentivize customers to switch to AYCE menu... def worked on us, smart marketing move I guess). AYCE menu was great. All the sushi was prepared really well and tasted fresh. Everything we tried was excellent. Miso soup did take over thirty minutes to come out tho, but generally, everything else was being prepared fairly quickly. The atmosphere and service were great. Our server was very friendly, helped answer any questions related to menu, and created a welcoming environment. There was cultural art and decor throughout the establishment, with floral decorations adding a pop of color to the ceiling. The interior decor, paired with the slightly dim lighting, created a cozy yet lively ambiance. Overall, great AYCE restaurant. Would not recommend the a la carte menu, the small portions are not worth the price. But would definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re in the mood for a good and diverse AYCE menu, delicious fresh sushi, and if you have a big appetite!

This place was so much fun!! It’s AYCE sushi and other random stuff. The sushi was so fun and delicious. The waitstaff was so cheerful and lovely. It wasn’t crowded at all. There is even a cute little cat delivery robot!!
